Merchandise Licensing

Every company that plans to market, sell or profit from merchandise that includes U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force intellectual properties must acquire a merchandise license with the Department of the Air Force (DAF). A merchandise license describes the terms through which the DAF grants permission to a company to use a trademark, service mark or copyright for distribution, marketing and sales. These agreements also render a company as an official licensee of the DAF.

Products sold by our licensees not only supports access to one’s favorite brand, but since 2006, the Air Force and Space Force Trademark Licensing Office has operated as a self-sustaining, revenue-generating office. The revenues generated from the purchase of officially licensed Air Force and Space Force-branded merchandise have provided almost $10 million in support of morale, welfare, and recreation activities for Airmen, Guardians, veterans, and their families, keeping our fighting forces lethal and resilient.

If you feel that you have a product that will help spread the word about the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force, then you should apply for a MERCHANDISE LICENSE.
