Merchandise licensing

The Department of the Air Force licenses several companies representing a wide array of products. We try our best to represent as much of the market as possible from hobbyists to the largest corporation. It all begins with a license application. Follow these steps and you are on your way to joining one of the most recognizable brands in the world. (If you are a current licensee and wish to renew your license please go HERE)

HOW TO APPLY FOR LICENSING

  1. Complete the Application Request Form. Include all required information.
  2. If selected as a potential licensee we will provide you an application.
  3. Complete New Licensee Application in full (Read the checklist at the end of the form carefully!).
  4. Submit your application and all required documents in your Direct Licensing Hub (DLH) application request message board.
  5. Submit product samples to:

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • There are no application fees to apply for a license
  • Completely filled out and signed application
  • Product sample that is indicative of the type of product you wish to place Air & Space Forces marks on
  • Business Plan (see requirements in application packet)
  • Past three years profit/loss statement or equivalent
  • Fair Labor Association or equivalent assessments for overseas manufacturers

IMPORTANT: Incomplete application packets will automatically be removed from consideration and denied. If you are denied, you may not re-apply for licensing for 12 months. DO NOT turn in an incomplete application.

  • Appropriateness
  • Company Stability

The Department of the Air Force reserves the right to not license certain merchandise, including, but not limited to, alcohol, tobacco, drug or smoking paraphernalia, weapons of any type, cosmetics, undergarments, products sexual in nature, item intended for ingestion, medical devices, or products contrary to the good order and discipline of the USAF and USSF.
