The creation, distribution, or sale of any merchandise incorporating Air Force or Space Force branding or logos is strictly prohibited without a valid license. Unauthorized use of our brand assets may result in legal action.

HOW TO APPLY FOR LICENSING
The application process begins with a mandatory pre-screen review to ensure prospective applicants meet our eligibility requirements and align with our brand portfolio.
- Prospective applicants must first submit an application request through our third-party licensing portal Direct Licensing Hub (DLH).
- Our office will review the pre-screen details to determine if the applicant qualifies for a trademark license application.
- If selected as a potential licensee our office will provide you with the formal application. Note: Completing an application does not guarantee a license.
- Complete the formal application in full to include submission of all items listed in the formal application's final checklist.
- Submit your formal application and all required documents submitted in your DLH application request message board.
- Ship product samples to the address below for evaluation:

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Only applicants who have successfully passed the pre-screen phase should submit the following:
- A completely filled out and signed formal application.
- Physical product sample(s) indicative of the quality and type of product(s) you intend to place Dept. of the Air Force properties on.
- Digital mockups showing how the company would like to use Dept. of the Air Force properties on the proposed product(s).
- A comprehensive business plan demonstrating the company's strategic vision for the use of Dept. of the Air Force properties.
- Profit/loss statements (or equivalent) for the past five years, sufficient to show business experience in or with the relevant product class.
- Current (i.e., within the last five years) social compliance audit results (or equivalent) for domestic and overseas factories being used in the development and distribution of merchandise, including the blanks on which logos are applied OR current SA8000 reports OR current certificate in a recognized social compliance association.
- Certificate of Good Standing issued by their Secretary of State (for US-based companies).
Incomplete application packets will automatically be removed from consideration and denied. If you are denied, you may not re-apply for licensing for 12 months. DO NOT submit an incomplete application.

The Department of the Air Force reserves the right to not license certain merchandise, including, but not limited to, alcohol, tobacco, drug or smoking paraphernalia, weapons of any type, cosmetics, undergarments, products sexual in nature, items intended for ingestion, medical devices, or products contrary to the good order and discipline of the USAF and USSF.
