Merchandise licensing

Thank you for your interest in the Air Force and Space Force Trademark Licensing program. Please be advised that our office is currently taking a strategic pause to review and strengthen our processes. As part of this pause, the application feature will be temporarily disabled effective July 21, 2025. 

IMPORTANT: This pause does not impact current licensees or renewals. If you are a current licensee and wish to renew your license please go HERE.

Additionally, please note that the creation, distribution, or sale of any merchandise incorporating Air Force or Space Force branding or logos is strictly prohibited without a valid license. Unauthorized use of our brand assets may result in legal action.

HOW TO APPLY FOR LICENSING

  1. If selected as a potential licensee we will provide you an application.
  2. Complete New Licensee Application in full (Read the checklist at the end of the form carefully!).
  3. Submit your application and all required documents in your Direct Licensing Hub (DLH) application request message board.
  4. Submit product samples to:

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • There are no application fees to apply for a license.
  • Completely filled out and signed application.
  • Product sample that is indicative of the type of product on which you wish to place Air Force & Space Forces marks.
  • Business Plan (see requirements in application packet).
  • Profit/loss statements or the equivalent for the past three years, sufficient to show business experience in or with the relevant product class.
  • Fair Labor Association or equivalent assessments for overseas manufacturers.

IMPORTANT: Incomplete application packets will automatically be removed from consideration and denied. If you are denied, you may not re-apply for licensing for 12 months. DO NOT turn in an incomplete application.

The Department of the Air Force reserves the right to not license certain merchandise, including, but not limited to, alcohol, tobacco, drug or smoking paraphernalia, weapons of any type, cosmetics, undergarments, products sexual in nature, item intended for ingestion, medical devices, or products contrary to the good order and discipline of the USAF and USSF.
