The Air Force Trademark and Licensing office donated a cast iron plaque to the Lackland Fisher Houses on March 25.

The Lackland Fisher Houses have housed more than 6,500 families since they were founded in 1991. Their mission is to provide a caring and compassionate "home away from home" for family members of our wounded warriors.

"It is an honor to donate items like these to the Fisher House because of their dedication to house the families of our military," said Ms. April Rowden, Trademark and Licensing chief. "As part of the T&L's program, we receive product samples from our licensees and applicants. Once they are properly documented, we have the pleasure to donate them for morale purposes."

The Trademark and Licensing office works to protect and promote a positive image of the United States Air Force by enhancing the name, reputation and public goodwill of the USAF through a fair and transparent trademark and licensing program. This ensures quality USAF-branded products populate the civilian marketplace.
